Just for the record 10 of our 15 seven second passes were done with stock connecting rods. The first 5 were also with the stock H2 magneto.

The OEM transmission has always been “Pro-Cut" by M*R*E and it does not use any auto modifications. The H2 clutch assembly has been modified to 15 plates and a lockup was added for the single stage Nitrous.

I wanted to use as many OEM parts as possible to see where the limitations were. I know that the next step is to find and replace the stock Connecting Rods. After that the next weak link will be addressed until I decide to retire or find some other obsession.

We started using some New aftermarket rods in 2005. So far so good...

There is more power to be unleashed if the Connecting Rods can stay together. Stay tuned to see what happens in the future.
